APPLICATION
Roller conveyors are among the most commonly used forms of line restricted internal transport. They can be used for many different types of goods, from small cardboard boxes up to pallet lods and even larger items. Goods must have flat bases or be fitted with skids in the direction or the movemant. Drums and tins with seamed bottoms can also be conveyed if the conveyor is equipped with guide rims. However, roller coneyors are less suitable for moving easily deformed goods.
BELT CONVEYORS
Mainly handle bulk goods & many type of assy goods. Rubber is most commonly used for belts conveying lightweight goods such as boxes and bins and some bulk goods. Reinforcesment is usually provided by synthetic materiel (polyester and polyamide) and a wide range of quailities is available for different duties. Some belts can accept hot materials at temperature exceeding 90 - 220 C. Some are oil resistant (chloroprene or nitrile rubber, which does not swell from interaction with oil ); some belt canvey food and some are fire resistant.Belt conveyors handle goods dently and have the considerable advantage of being able to manage inclines of at least 15 - 45 . Conveyor belts are made from several materiels :
